To begin, it'd be useful to define what exactly exclusive should mean in the context of LEGO Samsonite. There are two cases which we will cover: exclusive to a specific store, and exclusive to a specific group of stores.

In order for a set to be considered exclusive, the set must meet this criteria:

  1. It must appear in a dateable reference and unmistakably identifiable.

  2. It must not appear outside of its source(s) concurrently (as we should allow for cases in which a set starts exclusive and widens distribution).

  3. And obviously, some element of the set must be unique to that listing.
