This is a slippery slope of a subject.

Put simply, most models featured in advertisements, idea books, and set boxes were likely sold/distributed as a retailer model at one point or another. Which means there are literally hundreds to account for. Obviously some models had limited distribution, such as large local landmark buildings, but I'm aware of a plethora of these things surviving and almost none of them are duplicates.

As a result, I find it difficult to assemble a "definitive source", as there are far too many to compile. So for now, we're going to showcase a few surviving models as illustrative examples. I may come back and list off at least a few of the larger skyscraper models, likely with my own recreations from my collection, but all in due time.

The following examples originate from the History Colorado Center's collection, organized by ascending (probable) assembly date.
