The 060 has an identical sheet with a slightly later preparation, only single-sided, also in 1967. I'm not sure if it was used for advertising or what.

Currently, the retirement date is hard to confirm. However, given the last appearance of ads in education magazines like Instructor is in late 1969 (and given they usually appeared in the middle of the year), the 060 was likely retired by 1969.

The 321 and 060 are the exception to the rule, as they never got boxes with the updated eight patents(like the 322 has), instead they only have two:
Box/Overview
The 060 Jumbo Brick School Set(paired with its partner the 321 School Set) released in 1967 as a new wave of education exclusive sets. They were not the first sets that were offered to schools since the 1965 retirement of the 750/7100 sets.(i.e. a school ordered three 005 Discovery Sets in 1966), but the first dedicated educational sets since then.
The 060 is a bit more of a notable addition, as it is not only the first 60-piece jumbo bricks set(with others like the DP60 and T-014 following later in 1968), but it is also the first dedicated variant for institutional use and the first appearance of blue jumbo bricks.
Similar to the 321, the 060's box was plain and unadorned. I've seen several copies with the same tape, meaning it was likely how the set was originally sealed:
