With recent expansions, there is a plethora of work to be done both to the site itself as well as the information hosted upon it. Not only that, but our due diligence and strict standards for the site's information has absolutely put a ceiling on that.

Back in the summer of 2025, my original plan was to fully complete the site's articles before launching it, but several deadlines and work/life balance hurt that momentum. And now with a much larger scope, there's a lot to be done at any given time.

While it is rather inconvenient for users who may want information that I've not gotten around to yet, it does allow me to present what is finished and our findings so far. It also invites early scrutiny which will only serve to strengthen the quality of information as we continue.

Now that I've had a little experience, I have a much better understanding of how to approach reconstructing the entire history of Samsonite without relying on outside sources:

Fundamental corporate works will need to be constructed (dating name changes, new logos, etc.)

Denver plant coverage (I'll likely cover all Denver plants from 1910-73 within this one article)

Detroit plant (I know it's technically in Ecorse, but its always been labeled as in Detroit so that's what I'm calling it)

Montbello plant
